The CD Kindness Movement was formed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A few months into the pandemic, Cora and I started creating and giving out 2"x2" cards that had expressions of gratitude and support to people whom we interacted with who were providing some type of service, such as people at the grocery store, Target, the Post Office, Amazon delivery people, etc.

The reception that these cards had was amazing. People seemed to really like them and many started collecting them. One gentleman in Lowe's even put one in his name tag holder.

For me, it was a chance to express gratitude and kindness, and to model that to my daughter. Cora really likes giving these cards out and often remembers to say "Thank you for being here," which typically melts people. :) (She's adorable, what can I say?)

in 2019, I was inspired by an old friend and his niece to take this movement to another level. Now, for a nominal fee, I will be providing boxes of cards to people who also want to spread gratitude and kindness. You can either use one of the many designs that we have created or work with us to create your own design and message.

The artwork is primarily created by 12-year-old Cora. We work on the text together.
